This position provides resource support to staff and program participants to facilitate agency and program goals. The Program Aid is responsible for planning meals, purchasing food, assisting program participants in preparing healthy eating choices, and supervising the cleanup of the kitchen and dining area. The role also includes providing other program activity support, such as driving participants to appointments. Maintaining good relationships with the Department of Health and local food banks is crucial, with health and safety being of primary importance. Additionally, the Program Aid acts as a peer mentor and provides social model recovery activities.
