About The Position

The Sr. Staff Representative – Training Administration works within the United Ground Express (UGE) Training Department to assist with initial and continuous training needs, and training compliance for Other Airline (OA) contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent level of work experience.
  • Minimum of two years in an airport operation, or training leadership role.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Understanding of airport operations.
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) and networking skills.
  • Multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must show diligence and have exceptional organization and record keeping skills.
  • Must be motivated, able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • This position requires travel as needed for on-site training support, meetings, or other OA requirements.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications.
  • Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge.
  • Flexibility to work at any time, including nights, weekends, and holidays to support the operation and their team.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language, both oral and written.
  • Requires ability to use computers and other office equipment.
  • Requires ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • May require occasional bending and lifting up to 20, 50, 100 pounds.
  • Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a training catalog for all training including supporting documents.
  • Represent UGE training with OA partners and UGE leadership on training requirements, compliance, and issue resolution.
  • Be the point of contact for communication between UGE and other airlines regarding their training requirements, initiatives, and any changes for vendors and ground handlers.
  • Establish and maintain communication with training departments and training managers for other airlines.
  • Learn and understand training programs for other airlines.
  • Collaborate with other airlines to establish initial training goals for station startups or transitions and to maintain quarterly and/or annual regulatory training compliance goals for each station.
  • Provide support to local OA instructors.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for stations and local OA instructors on partner training requirements.
  • Work with station management to establish and maintain training compliance for OA contracts.
  • Provide communication to UGE leadership and local OA instructors on changes to training requirements.
  • Acts a key stakeholder with the UGE Project Management team and is involved in all aspects of training for new account or station startups, transitions, and other activities involving OA.
