About The Position

Aerospace company located in Woodinville, WA is currently hiring for a Customer Program Lead. This position will require recent or current aerospace industry work experience and extensive hands-on experience with aerospace customers/clients in an account management realm. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the aerospace sector, sales strategy, and program management to effectively drive business growth, customer engagement, and overall sales performance. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing sales initiatives, fostering customer relationships, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of products and services to clients.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership or program management role.
  • Must have aerospace customer/client engagement experience.
  • Proven experience in managing sales programs and account management is required.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or similar are desirable.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with industry certifications (such as AS9100, ISO 9001), aerospace regulations, and customer-specific requirements would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage aerospace manufacturing sales programs, from initial lead generation through to the final sale and delivery.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with organizational goals and customer requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, maintaining strong, long-term relationships with both existing and potential clients.
  • Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet those needs, ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
  • Work closely with the Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure sales programs are executed seamlessly and on time.
  • Act as the liaison between the customer and internal teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Lead the preparation of accurate sales forecasts and ensure all sales activities are tracked and reported to senior leadership.
  • Provide regular updates on program performance, market trends, and potential opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations with customers on contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities, understand competitive dynamics, and align sales strategies with current market conditions.
  • Propose and implement effective strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer bases.
  • Lead and mentor a sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales program success.
  • Identify potential risks and obstacles to program success, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Ensure that all sales activities are in compliance with aerospace industry regulations and quality standards.
