About The Position

This position reports directly to the Profitability Lead for Heterogeneous Integration BU. As a key finance business partner, the candidate will anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and actively influence management with critical analysis and sound business advice. This role collaborates with various cross-functional organizations globally and requires the ability to provide solutions to complex problems. Works independently to support a complex and growing business with a diverse set of new and existing products serving high share applications to commodity type applications.

  • Influencing - ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization
  • Initiative - self-motivation, ability and drive to seek out work and accomplish goals

  • Problem Solving/Critical Thinking - approaches, tools, techniques for solving problems & making sound recommendations
  • Very strong Excel skills, including modeling
  • Strong communication, including presentation skills
  • Basic or intermediate accounting knowledge
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience, semiconductor equipment or components manufacturing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Financial owner of total margin execution status and Cost per unit (CPU) improvement
  • Business partnering with executive management team, operations team and MPO manufacturing
  • Strategic financial planning, measurement and execution around gross margin initiatives
  • P&L reporting and executive management communications internal and external to finance organization/partners
  • Gross Margin Leadership team swim lane execution & tracking (I&W, Period, Burden, Variance, MCOS savings)
  • Analysis of strategic inventory decisions and ROI, responsible for driving execution to annual targets/metrics.
  • Lead Sequoia and GMLT product/program cost targeting and execution
  • Lead KPU SOP reviews, Inventory DIO, E&Z inventory exposure mitigation, BU balance sheet adequacy oversight
  • Forecasting & delivering predictable financial results, or where current model is off, is responsible for developing and driving mitigation/execution to get back on track.
  • Cadence focal and coordinator for all financial submissions
  • Close/GAAP, including balance sheet management
  • Process improvement in collaboration with peers in SPG
