About The Position

Leads investigative research in the particular area(s) of study and publishes and presents data in a timely manner. Guides other investigators and scientists in facilitating scientific research. Participates in various types of institute and community activities.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Science required.
Faculty appointment by the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research Appointments and Promotions Committee, required.
15+ years of relevant experience and 5+ years of leadership / management experience, required.

Responsibilities

Guides independent research and/or development work.
Enables grant funding and/or patents as appropriate.
Supervises research staff and provides technical direction to research staff.
Leads a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, correspondence, attending meetings, database maintenance, maintaining records, charts, etc.
Oversees the collection and analysis of research data.
Submits manuscripts and abstracts for publication/presentation.
Oversees all other activities, clinical and administrative, as appropriate.
Contributes through a combination of key technical expertise and technical/process leadership that regularly provides enterprise level guidance to team members.
Performs related duties as required.
