About The Position

As a Professional Staff Nurse (RN), you’ll care for mothers and babies, help guide quality nursing care, and work side by side with patients, families, and a supportive care team every day. Responsibilities: Patient Care: Delivers compassionate, relationship-based nursing care that puts patients and families at the center of every decision, addressing clinical, emotional, and safety needs. Teamwork & Professionalism: Builds respectful, inclusive relationships with patients and colleagues, promotes a healthy work–life balance, and speaks up about safety concerns. Patient & Staff Education: Provides clear, meaningful education to patients and families, supports students and new staff, and encourages continuous learning and feedback. Professional Growth & Collaboration: Actively participates in shared governance, supports change, assists team members, and remains flexible in a dynamic care environment. Quality & Improvement: Engages in quality improvement initiatives, uses evidence-based practice, and takes personal responsibility for improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of RN experience.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan and applies age-specific care principles.
  • Provides safe, high-quality care while establishing positive, caring relationships with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Uses critical thinking and clinical judgment to assess, plan, and deliver care.
  • Able to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and use specialized equipment.
  • Strong mobility, visual/manual dexterity, and physical stamina for walking, standing, and patient handling.
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • CPR/BLS certification (AHA standards) within 30 days of hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Act 31, 33, 34, 73 clearances
