Requirements

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems , including wiring, sensors and control panels.
  • Hands-on experience with machine setup, diagnostics, or automation equipment .
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and travel to customer sites as needed. (60% of the time)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of software configuration , databases (SQL) , or manufacturing software systems .
  • Experience with AutoCount or other shop floor data collection systems .
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC).

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, configuration, and testing of AutoCount hardware and software on customer sites.
  • Connect and integrate AutoCount with production equipment, ensuring accurate data collection and communication between systems.
  • Conduct electrical setup and troubleshooting , including wiring, sensors, and machine interfaces.
  • Collaborate with software consultants and project managers to ensure successful implementation according to project timelines.
  • Provide end-user training and support during go-live and post-implementation phases.
  • Document all installation steps, configurations, and customer-specific setups.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical issues during and after deployment.
