Available Office Locations: Austin | Boston | Chicago | Holmdel, New Jersey | Philadelphia | Raleigh | Denver| New York City | Toronto Overview: As a Professional Services Consultant at Litera, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. The Professional Services Consultant will lead the effort to guide our customers through the implementation of our best of breed solutions and non-product offerings. They provide ongoing advice and support throughout the installation and deployment of our products to ensure customers derive maximum value. This team of experts is essential to our customers’ success and team members act as trusted advisors before, during and after software rollout.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience, with solid knowledge of:
• Deploying enterprise software, preferably in law firms.
• Experience configuring enterprise software systems, including developing and applying configuration best practices, workflow design, and solution optimization based on customer requirements.
• Knowledge of information governance or Records Management industry.
• Experience Managing complex Data Migration or Integration Projects
• Experience Managing multiple assignments in fast-moving environments.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical configuration and workflow solutions.
• Proven ability to identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
• You have experience deploying multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of managing both customer and internal relationships effectively, including having difficult conversations around software issues and project status updates.
• Excellent client‑facing communication, facilitation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Understanding of information governance principles, retention policies, metadata structures, and compliance requirements within legal or highly regulated environments.

Nice To Haves

• SQL skills are highly beneficial for troubleshooting, data validation, and supporting migration or reconciliation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex implementations of Litera’s software solutions.
• Guide customers through end‑to‑end implementation, including discovery, configuration, data migration, testing, training, and deployment of solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on FileTrail and other Litera products, providing clear guidance and best practices to customers during the implementation process.
• Ability to translate complex product functionality into practical usage for end users across varying roles and permission levels.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to work with and interpret large datasets during complex data migrations and data integration projects.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with third-party integrations, including Document Management Systems, Practice Management applications, and other relevant third-party applications.
• Provide configuration best practices based on customer requirements.
• Independently lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Act as a trusted advisor for both the Litera team and customers throughout all aspects of projects.
• Conduct user and administrator training sessions, create documentation, and support customer readiness for go‑live.
