Professional Nurse
About The Position
The Professional Nurse in the Primary Care setting within the Department of Nursing Service is responsible for organizing and providing direct patient care for those patients served by Campus Health; applying clinical expertise in the utilization of the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation); recognizing that the scope and complexity of patient’s conditions vary from primary to chronic and routine to acute; and acts as a liaison between the health care provider and patient to promote optimal patient care. The Professional Nurse also implements educational programs, assists with complex technical/medical procedures, and supervises ancillary nursing personnel.
