Risk Placement Services (RPS) is one of the largest Specialty Wholesale Insurance Brokerage firms in the U.S., thriving on teamwork, creativity, and responsiveness. As a Broker, this role plays a key part in fostering revenue growth by delivering efficient underwriting services and connecting retail agents with national markets.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years of related work experience
- Business development and relationship management skills
- A home state P&C license
- Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset
- A passion for building trust and delivering exceptional service
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new business
- Build strong relationships with agents and carriers
- Pre-qualify submissions to focus on high-probability opportunities
- Develop expertise in insurance solutions for specific product lines and industry segments, ensuring RPS remains a trusted partner for retail agents
- Actively network and build relationships with independent retail agents and carrier underwriters
- Analyze submissions to determine the best carrier, coverage, and premium
- Stay updated on industry trends to adapt underwriting strategies
- Ensure business partners understand RPS’s full range of risk solutions
