We are seeking a detail-oriented Broker in Dallas, TX with an in-office work schedule. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of analytical skills, market expertise, and client focused communication to effectively assess risk, design tailored casualty insurance programs and negotiate competitive coverage on behalf of clients. They will excel at interpreting complex business operations, advising clients on policy structures and risk management strategies, and maintaining long-term relationships through proactive service and seamless policy renewals. This individual will demonstrate deep knowledge of key casualty lines and uphold all required state licensing to operate with professionalism and precision. Focused communication to effectively assess risk, design tailored casualty insurance term relationships through proactive service and seamless policy renewals.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of casualty insurance products (e.g., Automobile and General Liability, Worker’s Compensation, and Umbrella/Excess).
  • A focus on natural resources/energy, but the knowledge to work on all industries.
  • Strong, professional communication skills to interact with clients and underwriting teams.
  • Ability to analyze data to accurately broker deals.
  • Maintain the necessary state-specific property and casualty insurance licenses.

Responsibilities

  • Gathering client data and analyzing their business operations to identify potential risks.
  • Selecting insurance companies, submitting applications, and negotiating with underwriters to secure the best, most cost-effective coverage for the client.
  • Creating customized, comprehensive insurance programs that address specific liability exposures. These programs could be both guaranteed cost and loss sensitive.
  • Explain policy features, coverage, and exclusions. Advise risk management and keep clients informed about industry changes and conditions.
  • Managing existing accounts, review policies, and handling renewals to ensure uninterrupted coverage.
