About The Position

Genesis Homes Development/Champion Homes Center, a Division of Champion Home Builders Inc. Champion Homes Center has an immediate opening for a Manufactured Housing Salesperson in Rockport, TX. Champion Homes Center is a direct retailer for Champion Homes, the country's largest publicly held manufactured home producer. A successful applicant would possess: Honesty High moral values Integrity Professionalism High desire to succeed Role Description Previous successful experience in the factory-built housing industry is a must to be considered for this position. Must be able to provide a minimum of three-year successful track record of manufactured housing sales in a mountainous region and have the ability to perform site checks to determine home placement feasibility. This position is within a private property 50-lot development with spec homes available for immediate occupancy as well as a small model home center for sales into Texas. A proven track record of strong closing abilities is a must.

Requirements

  • Ability to work Saturdays, early evenings & some holidays (5 day work week)
  • Proven closing/negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbal & written
  • Great listening skills & creative problem-solving with the ability to find the root cause, as well as a solution.
  • Proactive follow-up with prospective customers

  • Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize
  • Previous successful experience in the factory-built housing industry is a must to be considered for this position.
