The Specialist, Professional Education is responsible for the coordination, and execution of local and regional healthcare professional education programs. Operating with moderate guidance from the Director of Professional Education, this role independently manages assigned programs while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure delivery against established educational, commercial, and compliance objectives. The Specialist applies professional education best practices to drive high-quality program execution—including cadaver labs, meal programs, grand rounds, preceptorships, visiting surgeon programs, symposia, and webinars—ensuring programs meet defined participation, engagement, and operational performance targets. This role partners closely with Digital Marketing, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Field Sales to align program strategy with business priorities and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical device industry
  • Proven experience collaborating with HCPs in an educational capacity
  • Strong experience partnering with commercial teams and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Must be able and willing to travel 20-30% of work time.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Associate Manager Prof Ed to plan and execute local and regional programs, including agenda setting, recruitment, and vendor coordination.
  • Develop tailored program agendas aligned with institutional learning objectives and local and regional business needs.
  • Independently coordinate with external venues and vendors to schedule local and regional educational events such as meal programs and cadaver labs; duties include coordination of tissue, instruments, supplies, catering and A/V.
  • Deploy local and regional program recruitment tactics, including creation and deployment of invitations and registration sites to drive attendance and maximize program impact.
  • Assist Associate Manager with the development of local and regional program content by migrating faculty-owned content to company-approved presentation templates.
  • Execute post-program communication strategies for local and regional program participants including surveys and promotion of future educational opportunities to sustain engagement.
  • Maintain and proactively manage the Professional Education program master tracker to be shared with cross functional teams during meetings to track HCP Faculty use.
  • Ensure all Professional Education programs comply with Integra policies, industry standards, and applicable government regulations.
