The Pet Care Club of Seattle is hiring a part-time Professional Dog Walker to support our Shoreline/Mountlake Terrace routes. We’re seeking candidates who take pride in showing up on time, following instructions, and building trust with clients and pets. This is a W-2 employee position , not a gig or on-demand app role. Routes are concentrated in Shoreline/Mountlake Terrace areas and are built with efficiency in mind. This is a driving-based role ; a reliable car is required We build your schedule for you and handle all of the backend client communications - all you have to do is focus on the pets in your care, and we will handle the rest! Ideal backgrounds: customer service, childcare, caregiving, healthcare, animal care, retail, or anyone seeking purposeful weekday work. Requirements
- Weekday availability required
- Must be available during midday hours (10am–3pm is our highest demand)
- Highly dependable and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently while staying connected to a team
- Confident using mobile apps and email
- Calm, patient, and experienced with animals (personal experience is great, too!)
- Professional and respectful in client homes
- A reliable car is required
Responsibilities
- Dog walking and pet care visits during weekdays
- Safe handling of pets with varying personalities
- Accurate completion of visit notes and photos
- Daily schedule management and communication
