The purpose of the Professional Development Technician is to ensure the efficient operation of the Professional Development Department and to provide administrative assistance to the department. The PD technician serves as the first point of contact for professional learning in the district and collaborates and coordinates with administrators and district staff to organize and manage all aspects of the professional learning program. The technician supports departmental staff with clerical, technical, and physical professional learning event preparation and set up, and assists with troubleshooting to ensure smooth delivery of Professional Learning at onsite and off site events. The technician assists with the administration and maintenance of Professional Development tracking software and handles confidential information in alignment with School District Policy. On a regular basis the professional development technician will professionally engage with a variety of stakeholders including District employees, parents, and the general public.
