About The Position

Summary POSITION SUMMARY The Professional Coding Manager is responsible for directing, supporting, monitoring and coordinating coding and abstracting processes for all professional and Physician services. The Professional Coding Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring the completion, accuracy and compliance of all the charge coding functions. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Highschool diploma or GED Minimum Experience 3 years of professional coding experience Required Registration/License/Certification CCS-P or CPC Preferred Education Associate’s or BS in Health Information Management Preferred Experience 5 years of professional coding experience Preferred Registration/License/Certification RHIT or RHIA combined with CCS-P or CPC Other Requirements N/A

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or GED
• 3 years of professional coding experience
• CCS-P or CPC

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or BS in Health Information Management
• 5 years of professional coding experience
• RHIT or RHIA combined with CCS-P or CPC
