Job Description: What is the role? The Professional, Client Account Services position offers a combination of technical support and communication to clients that utilize Cotality products and technology solutions. At its core, the role bridges the gap between client requests and the various internal teams of Cotality required to complete these requests. The position also requires a certain level of configuration of various Cotality applications. Critical thinking and highly polished client communication skills are paramount to provide ongoing support of our clients' complex technical needs. What will you be doing? Technical Liaison: You act as the primary bridge, translating complex client needs into actionable tasks for internal product and engineering teams. Application Configuration: You won’t just talk about the software; you will get "under the hood" to configure and fine-tune Cotality applications to meet specific client workflows. Strategic Communication: You are responsible for managing expectations and delivering professional, clear updates on complex technical issues. Problem Solving: Using critical thinking to diagnose why a solution isn't working and determining which internal resources are needed to fix it. Requirements Engineering: You act as a translator, gathering raw business needs from clients and converting them into precise technical specifications for developers and database admins. End-to-End Troubleshooting: You own the "problem-to-resolution" pipeline. This involves diagnosing deep-seated issues and ensuring the final fix meets performance and data integrity standards. Application Lifecycle Management: Beyond initial setup, you perform ongoing configurations and updates to ensure the software evolves alongside the client's business. Technical Project Leadership: You lead application change projects. This means using project management frameworks to track statuses, hit deadlines, and keep all stakeholders informed. Strategic Risk Management: You proactively identify potential technical or timeline risks, creating "Plan B" mitigation strategies before issues impact the client. Cross-Functional Orchestration: You serve as the central hub connecting Account Management, DBA, Product Development, and System Engineering to ensure everyone is pulling in the same direction.
