About The Position

HJ Staffing is seeking a Professional Application Designer to design, develop, install, test, and document complex applications software, including server, client, and web components . In this role, you will bridge the gap between application architects and development teams, ensuring that technical architecture solutions are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with customer specifications . You will function as a domain expert, providing leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel to enhance overall product quality

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in product design and support, with a strong background in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various development methodologies
• Technical Mastery: Proven experience with product systems design principles, appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware, and software
• Process Knowledge: Familiarity with company application development policies, procedures, and industry-standard coding documentation

Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Provide high-level design documents and translate them into component-level designs to accelerate the development of flexible, reusable components
• Technical Liaison: Act as the primary liaison between application architects and development teams to ensure seamless coordination during product implementation
• Research & Evaluation: Assist in technical research and evaluate tools and methodologies to ensure designs adhere to industry, client, and company standards
• Documentation & Testing: Develop comprehensive technical documentation and oversee test-plan development, integration, and deployment phases
• Collaboration: Participate in joint applications development (JAD) sessions and project meetings to communicate design decisions across departmental personnel
• Mentorship: Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced developers, ensuring all application designs meet strict specifications
