About The Position

As a Production Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for ensuring our products are produced efficiently and delivered to customers with precision and punctuality. By leveraging your analytical skills and process expertise, you'll contribute to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will report directly to our Production Manager and work out of our Boyne City, MI, location on an on-site work schedule.

Requirements

  • Manipulate small parts (i.e. fine motor skills)
  • Proficiency and in-house certification in soldering
  • Proficiency and understanding of how to use measurement tools
  • Ability to frequently use microscopes
  • Ability to pass an annual eye exam, as required
  • Ability to distinguish colors accurately
  • Ability to pass safety wire training
  • Ability to work with adhesives, chemicals, etc. as called out in work instructions
  • Assemble parts per work instructions
  • Calibrate /ATP test production assemblies
  • Support RMAs and root cause efforts, as assigned
  • Support product launch efforts, as assigned
  • Identify and tag non-conforming materials, as called out in quality procedures
  • Maintain flexibility to work in multiple areas, as assigned
  • Collaborate with others in a team environment
  • Train others, as assigned
  • Complete other work, as assigned
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year experience in manufacturing/assembly environments
  • Proficiency with work requiring fine motor skills
  • Ability to pass an annual eye exam, as required
  • Ability to distinguish colors accurately
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
