Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours as required and maintain job performance standards
• Ability to safely move around in a heavy industrial plant environment: Ascending or Descending steps within the plant.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.

Nice To Haves

• Fork truck experience
• Experience in hand and power tools.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
• Steel experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to department personnel as needed.
• Move and transport material as necessary.
• Weigh and position product.
• Operate mobile equipment and cranes.
• Work in a safe and productive manner.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
