About The Position

Summary/Scope of Role: To fabricate parts and assemblies in accordance with specifications by performing the following duties.

Requirements

• General Skills (Hand Tools, Saw, Drill Press, etc.)
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must have Prior fabricating experience
• Must comply with and meet all pre-employment requisites, including but not limited to criminal background check prior to start date, and pre-employment and random drug testing in accordance with Company policy for the duration of employment

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets travelers and operations sheets to determine appropriate operations to be performed
• Interprets blueprints and other fabrication specifications in order to build production parts and assemblies
• Completes assembly responsibilities to include drilling, tapping, grinding, sawing, sanding, burring and counter burring
• Uses appropriate inspection tools as required
• Maintains an adequate supply of operating materials for production machines and obtains additional materials according to procedures
• Documents production activities each day as assigned
• Reports any malfunctions or equipment problems to management
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures
• Maintains clean, orderly and safe work areas at all times
• Performs other related duties as assigned
