About The Position

The position of Production Worker is responsible for performing repetitive
workstation, or line assembly operations to mass-produce sheet metal components,
or to assemble those components into a completed product. This is done by
operating machinery and other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Ability to perform assembly type functions using hand and /or power tools.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to write and read routine reports or job orders.
• Ability to understand job instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Must be able to perform these operations using American units of money, weight, volume and distance.
• Ability to interpret, understand, and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Attendance is required Monday through Friday within normal business hours as established by the supervisor.
• Employee may be required to work overtime.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
• The employee is frequently require to use a hand to finger, handle and feel objects and to climb and balance.
• The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Employee must be able to communicate readily and to talk and hear.
• Specific visual abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating a forklift preferred.
• 1 year general work production/manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs assembly-type functions using hand and/or power tools
• Operates press brake to form flat sheets
• Operates automatic fastening machines and devices
• Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes
• Operates forklift as required.
• Other duties may be assigned.
