About The Position

This is an hourly, entry-level production position where the employee is responsible for performing general production labor activities under the direction of a mentor employee that include various machine operation actions that may progress to a machine operator position.

Requirements

• Dependability to be consistently at work and on time with the ability to work a flexible schedule that may include all shifts.
• Basic reading and math skills including knowledge of fractions and decimals.
• Basic measuring skills like using a tape measure.
• Fundamental listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines throughout production processes.
• A “team member” mentality with quality assurance mindset.
• Repetitive standing, bending capability; near/far vision, manual dexterity, multiple limb coordination with moderate lifting capability (up to 65 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection of work area to check for safety hazards.
• Perform operator actions at a training-level capacity under the direction of a mentor employee as assigned by supervisory personnel following standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Perform various general labor duties as assigned daily by supervisory personnel per standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Perform work station and surrounding area housekeeping duties as required.
