About The Position
Xcal Tools is seeking a dependable and hardworking Production Worker to join our Forging Department. This position is responsible for operating industrial ovens and upsetter machines to heat and forge metal components according to company specifications and quality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing or forging experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial ovens to heat metal materials to required temperatures
- Operate upsetter forging equipment to shape heated metal into specified forms
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and consistency
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of forged parts
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with routine equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
