Howmet Aerospace is currently looking a Foundry Worker to join our Howmet Casting located in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this Midnight Shift position are Sunday night - Thursday night 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM. JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for Deplating, Dewaxing and Inspection / Wrapping molds for Casting in the Equiax and DS Foundry.
Responsibilities
- Removes molds from the output dry tunnels, removes hardware from molds and records mold weights
- Loads and unloads autoclave & continuous Dewax oven.
- In the Equiax Foundry perform the Core Reclaim operation when needed.
- Perform mold wash / inspection/ mold wrap and boroscope operation.
- Operates attendant equipment.
- Transports materials and molds as required.
- Maintains a clean and safe working area.
- Cleans and prepares hardware for wax assembly.
- Will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records or molds processed
