About The Position

Nature’s World is a Charlie's Produce company and is an employee owned and operated business that started at the Walker Family kitchen table in Lake Tapps, Washington. They have been delivering premium dried fruit, nuts, trail mixes, candies and other snacks since January of 1987. Today the company operates out of Seattle WA and is seeking a Production Associate for our Nature World production team. Starting hourly rate $21.30/hr Schedule Monday through Friday with the occasional Saturday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 7:30am to 4:00pm

Requirements

  • Successful completion of application process
  • Must be able to pass drug and background check
  • Has good personal hygiene practices
  • Must have reliable form of transportation
  • Must be flexible / dependable to work on days scheduled
  • Ability to follow directions and quickly transition
  • Basic math skills and ability to adjust and read weight scales
  • Able to work in fast paced work environment
  • Able to work with a small team
  • Able to occasionally lift up to 50# cases
  • Must be able to stand for long lengths of time
  • The ability to stop production if they feel there is a safety hazard
  • Ability to safely work with and around nuts

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the operation of the production line(s) of individual snack food items
  • Packaging
  • Running the label machine
  • Refilling labels
  • Adjustments of rails
  • Adjustments of head heights
  • Label placement on tubs
  • Label corrections
  • Train new employees on GMP's, sanitation duties, mixing, production duties, and labeling
  • Additional tasks as they are assigned
