About The Position

The Role Our Production Team Members are valuable members of our Assembly Line. They assemble vehicles by utilizing the materials and tools provided. They may also be responsible for selecting and attaching parts to vehicles or components using hoists, hand tools, machinery, or other equipment. This equipment could operate at heights of up to 35 feet Ready to grow and contribute to our dynamic team Physical Requirements Quick response to safety instructions, alarms, and signals are a must Ability to work and stand for extended periods Comfortably wear personal protective equipment Navigate a busy environment Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach May need to lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. depending on department Occasional sitting during certain tasks Drive mobile equipment when needed Minimum Requirements 18+ years old Eligible to work in the United States Availability to work a maximum of 32 hours per week Be shift flexible as hours and days assigned may vary Satisfactorily complete drug testing and a background check Proficiency to listen, read, follow work and safety instructions which are written in English Preferred Qualifications Experience working in auto manufacturing Experience working in manufacturing or warehouse environment Experience identifying and reporting quality defects Experience operating mobile equipment or using specialized tools such as forklifts, pallet jacks, torque guns, hoists, or industrial vehicles Sponsorship: GM DOES NOT PROVIDE IMMIGRATION-RELATED SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE.
