Production Worker

About The Position
Performs functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting production goals for customer orders by efficiently blending and bagging product on packaging line. This employee will rotate to other position at the packaging line as needed.
Requirements
- High School of GED equivalent required.
- Ability to communicate well both oral and written
- Ability to lift 50lbs continuously
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge about manufacturing food preferred
Responsibilities
- Properly sets up the machine for start up
- Fill blender with ingredients weighing up to 55lbs
- Mix ingredients per recipe
- Fills bags with product as per the required weight and maintains packaging line standards.
- Required to assist in stacking at the end of the line as needed by loading boxes/ bags onto pallet. Bags weigh 50lbs
- Complete paperwork as needed.
- Must maintain the integrity of the product.
- This is a fast paced production environment
- Keeps area and equipment clean; follows LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
- Required to regularly stand, walk, bend, lift and reach
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
