About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Production Worker for its Troy, IL location. This role involves working in all departments of the manufacturing plant, including Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, and Layout, performing various manual labor jobs. Some departments are more physically demanding, but the general laborer is expected to handle work in all departments on a daily basis.

Requirements

• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Must be able to frequently carry 10-34 pounds and occasionally carry 35-100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to carry a 100-pound ladder occasionally with assistance.
• Must be able to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, and climb heights with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to frequently crouch, kneel, balance, reach above shoulder level, push, and pull with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging and assembly tasks according to production standards.
• Set up materials and components in alignment with shop order specifications.
• Stack, band, and secure parts for safe handling and transport.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with workstation setup.
• Create barcodes and accurately label finished products.
• Cutting materials using a band saw while following all safety procedures.
• Handle materials efficiently to support smooth workflow and production needs.
