Production Worker
About The Position
ATI is seeking Production Workers for its Latrobe Operations. These roles are crucial to the company's success, ensuring production requirements and standards are consistently met, and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements without compromising quality. Workplace safety is a core value. Production Workers are expected to work multiple shifts, weekends, and overtime in a heavy industrial environment. Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a transferrable industry with transferrable skills
- Basic reading, math, and measurement comprehension. Ability to read instructions, do basic math and perform simple measurements is critical.
- Ability and willingness to operate and/or maintain a variety of operating units
- Work shifts, weekends, and overtime in an industrial environment
- Demonstrated ability to work safely as a team member
- Reading, math & problem-solving skills with electrical or mechanical aptitude
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, Vo-Tech Certificate or associate degree in electrical, mechanical or other related curriculum
Responsibilities
- Operate both small and large mobile equipment
- Operate cranes using a remote radio control box or in an overhead cab
- Work with a team in the various facilities to produce world class plate products. Some tasks require routine interaction with computer interfaces.
- Assist and support routine maintenance activities
