About The Position

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Requirements

  • 0-2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or other relevant field
  • Manual or Automated Welding Process Experience.
  • Ability to work with small hardware components and attention to detail.
  • Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions and test procedures
  • Work collaboratively with teams of skilled, disciplines, and backgrounds
  • Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and in person
  • Basic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESD R55866
  • A demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with teams of skilled across large geographic distances
  • Ability to support Monday-Friday work schedule, work off-shift, extended hours overtime, and weekends if/when necessary
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to work second shift (Monday through Thursday 3 pm - 1:30 am) OR weekend shift (Friday through Sunday 5 am - 6 pm)

  • Experience in handling large aerospace components
  • Experience in assembling large tight-tolerance structures
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification
  • Robotic Experience
