About The Position

Perform or assist with tasks related to natural gas distribution under the direct supervision of qualified personnel. Support maintenance activities for gate stations, propane‑air plants, district regulator pits, and industrial meter sets. Assist with calibration and upkeep of SCADA systems, gas detection equipment, odorizers, and other related instrumentation. Carry out additional operational and maintenance duties within the Production department as assigned. Participate in the Production on‑call rotation schedule upon meeting qualification requirements. Maintain required residency within designated proximity once fully qualified for on‑call responsibilities. Perform other related duties as needed to support departmental operations. Requirements

• Must have knowledge of and understand electrical, electronic, and telephone circuits.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair instrumentation devices.
• Ability to work from instruction manuals and assembly drawings.
• Ability to lift heavy objects directly from the ground or from overhead.
• Display knowledge of safety procedures and rules of the company.
• High school diploma o r equi v alent GED.
• Valid Dri v er’s License.
• Be able to pass a full-face respirator medical exam.
• Effecti v e problem-sol v ing skills w ith attention to detail and the anal y tical abilit y to e v aluate complex data and apply good j udgment to take app r opriate follo w up actions as needed w hile w orking w ithout close super v ision.
• Strong PC skills along w ith proficient kno w ledge and use of Microsoft E x cel and w ord applications.
• Use of hand tools.
• Must ha v e good or g ani z ational skills and the abilit y to handle multiple tasks w ith frequent interrupt i ons.
• Must pos s ess de x terity for operating hand and po w er tools i n a safe manner.
• Must be highl y producti v e and result s or i ented and w illing to w ork in a t eam en v ironment.
• Ability to work in underground and confined space regulator vaults.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
