About The Position

Evaluate and underwrite insurance applications for commercial clients Analyze risk, market conditions, and policy terms to determine appropriate coverage and pricing. Collaborate with underwriting assistants and other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of underwriting processes. Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients to understand their unique needs and deliver exceptional customer service. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to guide underwriting decisions and strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field.
• Proven experience as an underwriter or underwriting assistant, with a focus on commercial insurance in the specified range.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and make informed underwriting decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and cultivate relationships with clients and brokers.
• Knowledge of insurance regulations, policies, and procedures.
