You will be the Production Test Engineer (Missile Assembly) (ATE) for the Missile Assembly team. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing automated test equipment, manufacturing test planning, and electro‑mechanical integration to support Production Operations at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Troy, Alabama. What You Will Be Doing As the Production Test Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical support to ensure the successful production of missiles. You will play a critical role in supporting the development of automated test equipment, preparing test procedures, and troubleshooting test anomalies. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. Basic Qualifications Degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline at the Bachelor level or above and 2 years professional experience; Or 6 years of related professional experience. Working knowledge / experience of electronic testing methods in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications and schematics. Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting. Additionally, the candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations.
