Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Duluth, MN is currently seeking applicants for a Production Technician . Responsible for assisting production needs, while also performing technical tests and experiments in manufacturing. Job Location: Located in Duluth, MN near airport road and a short commute to Superior.

Requirements

1 – 2 years of related experience
Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures
Associate degree in electronics technology or significant relevant experience, new graduates are encouraged to apply
This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” according to U.S. federal law.

Responsibilities

Electrical testing of high-reliability power supplies and similar equipment using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and custom test equipment.
Board and component-level testing of printed circuit board assemblies.
Conducts military standard qualification testing and environmental testing of electronic components.
Testing of space grade magnetic components
Test products using environmental chambers, thermal shock chambers, shock and vibration systems, vacuum chambers.
Diagnose and repair field returns.
Provide technical assistance to production operators.
Work with engineers to develop test jigs, tooling, and procedures for new products.
Participated in quality improvement initiatives.
Production Maintenance, Engineering Maintenance, and Calibration
