About The Position

As a Production Technician , you are responsible for running and monitoring specific equipment on the production line in a safe and reliable manner. Your role focus on building fundamental technical skills, developing process discipline, and learning the basics of equipment performance and quality checks. The Production Technician is expected to follow standard operating procedures, respond to basic equipment stops, and escalate abnormalities. With strong performance, technical curiosity, and learning agility, this core can progress int to Production Specialist, gaining broader technical responsibility and autonomy. The Winter Haven plant is a high-volume, fast-paced 24/7-365 days/year manufacturing environment. Our crews work 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) working 4 days on / 4 days off. Schedules will rotate from day to night shift every 4 weeks.

Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical systems and tools
  • Visual and basic measurement tools, knows how to perform basic inspections and interpret results
  • First-level stop response, can identify and assist in resolving simple line stops or alarms
  • Basic Troubleshooting of common mechanical & graphics issues to minimize downtime
  • Flexibly and learning agility to rotate between machines, to switch between different tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and adaptability
  • Start-up/shutdown procedures, understands and follows step-by-step operation instructions, following safety protocols and maintaining production quality
  • Basic computer skills, understands how to use digital tools and systems for communication and task execution
  • No experience required

Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned equipment following standard procedure, ensures safe and stable operation of a specific machine or process step, escalate issues when needed
  • Follow safety protocols and report unsafe conditions, adheres to all safety standards, uses PPE properly, and participate in safety audits or checks
  • Identify and report equipment or process abnormalities, recognizes unusual equipment behaviour or process deviations and informs team leads
  • Support basic troubleshooting and cleaning tasks (Housekeeping), assists in resolving minor stops and performs regular cleaning or checks under supervision
  • Perform visual and dimensional quality checks, executes basic in-line inspections using tools or visual standards and reports non-conformities
  • Minimize material waste through correct handling and operation, operates with care to reduce spoilage
  • Participate in on-the-job training and learning activities, builds knowledge of upstream/downstream process impact, equipment setting, and quality drivers
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving activities, maintain clear, organized work area and suggests improvements to routines or ergonomics
