Production Technician – All Levels: Responsible for executing and monitoring blast area and wet chemical processes involved in the manufacturing of implantable medical devices and instruments. Production Techs ensure that the processes are conducted accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards. This position will help EXALTA Group maximize the amount of patients served while maintaining a high level of quality and safety.

Requirements

  • Intermediate mathematics (manipulating numbers, quantities, shapes, and spaces)
  • Intermediate hand tools (safety and appropriately use hammers, screwdrivers, hacksaws, and other hand tools)
  • Quality control analysis: Conducting advanced inspections of products to evaluate quality and detect nonconformities.
  • Operation monitoring: watching gauges, dials, and other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
  • Operation and control: Controlling operations of equipment of systems.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Perform wet chemical processes according to established protocols and procedures, including ultrasonic cleaning, electropolishing, titanium anodizing, and nitric passivation of implantable medical devices and instruments.
  • Operate and maintain wet processing equipment such as chemical baths, cleaning stations, and coating machines. Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
  • Monitor process parameters and product quality throughout the manufacturing process. Perform in-process inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Hand blast, auto blast, buff, bending, and sanding of all parts
  • Apply liquid mask, clean and degrease all parts
  • Hand blast, auto blast, buff and sand al, parts
  • Process production parts through the electropolish line to meet specific surface finish criteria.
  • Setup part files and recipes within the Flextime anodizing software to create and meet specific titanium color gauge requirements
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with EXALTA's safety protocols and OSHA requirements
  • Assist with coordinating and conducting training where applicable and needed
