About The Position

We are seeking a Production Technician to support the testing, troubleshooting, or repair of various products currently in production. In this role you will utilize a variety of test procedures, engineering drawings, and electrical schematics to test, trouble shoot, and repair integrated unit level assemblies as well as circuit board assemblies down to the component level. This role includes the completion of assembly processes for both unit sub assembly and the final integration of unit level assemblies. This is an on-site position located at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. This is a 1st shift position (7am - 3:30pm). You will report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor. Requirements

  • You must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • An Associate‘s degree in in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or another related program from an accredited institution.
  • Knowledge of digital and analog circuitry and the ability to troubleshoot complex assemblies to the component level.
  • Must understand written work instructions and comprehend electronic and mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • The ability to diagnose complex circuitry independently.
  • The ability to pass a required electronics assessment.
  • The ability to pass Astronautics solder training program.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of electronic technician experience.
  • Experience with circuit board automated and manual functional testing.
  • Flying probe experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-circuit and functional test and component level troubleshooting on complex circuit card assemblies.
  • Utilize your mechanical skills to disassemble and reassemble product per drawings or other documents using common tools.
  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot subassembly level components.
  • Integrate, test, calibrate and troubleshoot complex end item avionics assemblies
  • Work closely with Test, Systems, Hardware and Software Engineering to resolve issues, improve manufacturability and assure high yields.
  • Adhere to highest Aviation and Aerospace quality standards.
