What you will do Looking forapackaging technician toassistmanufacturing team in the production of cannabis-based medicines. This includespackaging, inventory managementdutiesand labeling. Packageediblesproducts followingspecifications.Trim and packediblesinto final packagingApply labels tovarious typesofediblesMaintain a clean and safe working environment including cleaning labwareKeeps a detailed laboratory log, dating and recording all tasks performed and relevantComfortable performing in a goal drivenenvironmentPerform other functions as necessary to provide an adequate supply of product to meet patientneedsAble to setup,and breakdown needed equipmentProvide feedback to improve process quality What You've Accomplished 2-year technical degree in automation, packaging and biomedical technology or related field.In lieu of technical degree, minimum of 3 years' experience working in regulated environment with automated or semi-automated equipmentFamiliarity with GMP, OSHA or other standardized manufacturing and safety guidelines. Physical Demands Abilityto communicate orally with management and other co-workers is crucial. Sitting or standing for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinaryinformationand to prepare or inspect documents. Some heavy lifting may berequired. Exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally may berequired. Must be comfortable operating and troubleshooting scientific and packaging equipment. Work Environment The job is performed indoors in a traditional laboratory setting. Exposure to chemicals and laboratory agents is expected. Protective safety clothing, goggles, gloves, face masks, orhairnetarerequiredas needed. Must be able to adhere to clean roomprotocolin designatedarea. Activities include extended periods of sitting or standing and extensive work using laboratory and packaging equipment and machinery. The current schedule for this position operates from 7am-3:30pm, but may be subject to change depending on business needs.

Requirements
