About The Position

Job Summary: The Production Technician Level 1 at PowerShades is an entry-level role responsible for assisting in the processing, assembly, testing, and packaging of motorized shading systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our products meet quality and performance standards. The technician will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a commitment to excellence are essential. Key Responsibilities: Processing, Assembly and Manufacturing: Process materials and Assemble components for shading systems according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Operate basic hand tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently. Follow work orders and production schedules to meet daily output goals. Testing and Quality Control: Perform functional testing of finished products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. Identify and report defects or discrepancies in materials or workmanship. Packaging and Shipping Preparation: Package finished products securely for shipment. Label products accurately according to customer orders and specifications. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficient operations. Documentation and Reporting: Complete production logs and quality assurance checklists accurately. Communicate any production issues or delays to the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • No prior experience required; manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Occasionally required to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.

  • manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus.
