Job Overview Amazon Robotics is seeking a Production Technician who will be responsible for Robotics assembly, Material Handling, and product packaging. Job Requirements: Production Technicians are members of the Assembly and Logistics teams within the general manufacturing team responsible for building, automated testing, and packaging of Amazon products manufactured internally.
Requirements
- General knowledge of manufacturing tools (including but not limited to torque tools, wrenches, channel locks, etc.) and follow written/verbal instructions
- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
- Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments
- Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies and storage solutions
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Experience with computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Oracle ERP software and manufacturing execution systems
Responsibilities
- Required tasks and build electro-mechanical units utilizing industry best practices.
- Shipping, receiving, maintaining, tracking, and delivering goods for manufacturing following appropriate protocols.
- Learning systems and tools for material management as well as coordinate methods of delivery with suppliers and customers
- Seeking out improvements in processes to continuously meet on time delivery of goods.
- Ability to operate Power Industrial Equipment & pallet jacks for loading and unloading trailers
