About The Position

AMDA Production Department is looking for students interested in enhancing their experience as a performer & student while also participating as part of a team ensuring that the AMDA productions run smoothly. The Production Department is looking for focused students to work as a team on Graduation Performances from start to finish. Students hired will be trained in all areas below, and work either where their schedule allows, and/or where their expertise lies, depending on availability. Not only will this enhance your experience here, you will also gain understanding of the full picture in Theatre Performances. Here’s what you need to know: Production always hires the FIRST WEEK of the semester Customer service, backstage skills a plus If hired, you will be trained in the following positions Assistant Stage Manager Spot Light Operator Usher Costume shop Techie (Hang/focus lights, paint, prep for shows) Social Media for Production and Events Must be in and remain in good standing with your academics, up-to-date on payment plans, and comply with the Student Code of Conduct Qualifications: Upload Resume and Cover Letter Complete each question, even if it’s on your resume Remember that volunteer work counts as work, especially for any of the positions listed above Position Information: The pay rate for this position is $17 an hour.
