Production Team Specialist

About The Position

Our production team specialists are responsible for both cut sheet digital printers as well as large format printers and equipment. You will be responsible for all aspects of the production process from setup to finishing. Alphagraphics Twin Cities is a locally owned small business. We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, a team player and a good fit with the rest of our team.

Requirements

Basic math skills and the ability to use a computer.
Ability to safely lift 50 lbs and work over a waist-high table.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work quickly and neatly.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and organize several activities and tasks concurrently.
Ability to follow instructions and prioritize workload.
Ability to maximize profit through the efficient use of time and equipment.
Positive, Professional Attitude and Strong Work Ethic.
Cooperative interpersonal skills, driven by the opportunity to contribute to the success of a local business.
Effective communication skills (oral and written).

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience operating wide format printers and associated equipment (e.g., in a commercial sign company or printer).
Familiarity with or comfort using Fiery Command Workstation to control digital workflow.
Ability to perform basic bindery functions.
Proven understanding or experience using equipment including: Large format digital printers. Laminators and cutters. Vinyl printers and sign equipment.
Understanding of Large Format Design and execution.
Graphic design skills helpful but not required.
