POSITION OVERVIEW As our Team Member, this individual will report to our Group Lead and will perform a wide range of tasks in manufacturing including but not limited to machining parts, making and inspecting sub-assemblies as well as final assemblies of all of our roller and slide guide products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience or equivalent mechanical training/aptitude/experience
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others in a group environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in cooperation with other team members towards building a sense of teamwork
  • Desire to proactively identify and make suggestions for continuous process improvements
  • Basic math skills and measurement skills
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM including some weekend hours

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1 to 3 years of experience operating CNC machinery
  • Experience in reading blueprints and using applicable measurement tools and gauges such as calipers and micrometers
  • Experience deburring parts

Responsibilities

  • Performs work in a manufacturing environment emphasizing teamwork, safety, quality, productivity and cost improvements.
  • Follows standardized work procedures and work sequence for each process.
  • Works with their team to improve standardized processes / methods, identify waste, methodically eliminate waste and standardize the new process / methods.
  • Directly responsible for performance of duties within assigned work area.
  • Completes all working documentation, records and reports as requested.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Be proactive and reactive to resolve abnormalities in the process.
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
