About The Position

NO EXPERIENCE STARTING AT $17.25 12 - 23 months of continuous relevant experience up to $20.50 24 + months of continuous relevant experience up to $22.00 No experience is necessary - we train on the job! Toyotetsu is a global full-service manufacturer of essential car components, with capabilities in stamping, welding, and press quenching. Considered one of the best stampers in the world, we make an impact with three major car companies in the United States with locations in Kentucky, Michigan, Alabama, Indiana, Texas, Mexico, and Canada. Current positions available work a 4-week rotating shift and receive an additional hourly rotation pay. Welding, Stamping, and Conveyance Positions Available. Direct Hire Program Details: 1st Shift | 6:30 AM – 3:15 PM (with variable mandatory overtime) | Monday-Friday with possible weekend overtime | Four-week rotation Schedule 2nd Shift | 6:30 PM – 3:15 AM (with variable mandatory overtime) | Monday-Friday with possible weekend overtime | Four-week rotation Schedule Examples Of What You Could Be Doing • Stamping – loading & unloading of steel blanks & placing onto press/stamping machine • Machine Operator for Robotic Welding Machines – loading & unloading of stamped metal parts from robotic welding machines; checking parts for imperfections • Conveyance – loading & moving totes holding metal parts with a pallet jacks, tugger or forklift

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
  • Technical Competencies Good Mechanical aptitude Ability to read and follow work instructions
  • Non-Technical Aptitude Communication (verbal and written communication and strong listening skills). Judgment and thinking (good judgment and decision making, problem solving, awareness). Performance skills (accuracy with detail, planning and organizing, efficiency). Personal characteristics (motivation, commitment, flexibility, eagerness to learn, embraces teamwork and diversity).
  • Environment: Hot and cool conditions. Moderate to high noise levels. Exposure to welding dust and sparks Shift rotation (able to work 4-week rotating shifts – rotating between days and nights) Schedule (able to work 12-hour shifts 5 – 7 days per week).
  • Hiring Process: Ability to complete tour and interview process Willingness to submit to and pass job related criminal background check and drug screen Willingness to submit to and pass post-offer physical and audio testing

Nice To Haves

  • 12 months or more of continuous relevant experience in a manufacturing environment or military experience (Form DD-214 Required)
  • Excellent previous work history (no unexplained gaps in employment)
  • Excellent attendance, safety, quality.
