About The Position

SUMMARY: Coordinates production employees to meet scheduled requirements in respective department. Required to perform other miscellaneous tasks as supervision deems necessary.

Responsibilities

• Trains and enforces all policies and procedures.
• Completes and verifies First and Final Article Inspections as necessary.
• Assures parts are correct and identified before leaving department.
• Processes associated documentation including process tags, rework tags, and non-conforming material documents.
• Stages work for department.
• Assists Production/Assistant Production Supervisors with job assignments as needed.
• Mentors and trains new employees.
• Collaborates with Assistant/Production Supervisors on personnel issues, reviews, promotions, transfers, discharges and discipline.
• Coordinates production with other departments.
• Works with management to improve production flow.
• Analyzes and resolves work situations and assists production workers in solving work problems.
• Assists in production, as necessary.
• Reads and interprets sales orders.
• Completes all weekly, daily and monthly 5S tasks.
