Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience required
  • Demonstrated leadership or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of production processes and quality standards
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35 pounds for extended periods
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as needed

Responsibilities

  • Lead, direct, and support a team of Production Team Members during assigned shifts
  • Ensure all team members follow safety policies, PPE requirements, and standard work procedures
  • Monitor daily production performance and adjust staffing or workflow to meet targets
  • Perform quality checks and ensure adherence to customer and company quality standards
  • Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and development
  • Coordinate shift start-ups, line changeovers, and end-of-shift handoffs
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment, process, or quality issues and escalate when necessary
  • Communicate production goals, updates, and concerns to team members and supervisors
  • Maintain accurate production, quality, and downtime documentation
  • Promote and maintain 5S standards and a clean, organized work environment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in problem-solving activities
  • Assist with scheduling coverage, attendance tracking, and daily labor planning
  • Address and resolve routine team member concerns and performance issues
