About The Position

We are seeking a dependable Production Team Leader to support our packaging operations. The Production Team Leader monitors productivity and process compliance in a designated area.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and understand work orders and packaging specs in English
Ability to perform basic math
Ability to communicate and give instruction to employees in both verbal and written form
Leadership skills with the ability to take charge of a given situation
Ability to operate a computer and use Microsoft Office
Ability to demonstrate full understanding of production flow process

Responsibilities

Oversee the running and completion of all assigned work orders.
Monitor and reconcile open orders daily.
Give proper instructions to packagers according to the specific job.
Enforces HLM rules and regulations.
Communicate with supervisor & general supervisor on the day-to-day operations, material needs and employee issues.
Communicate material overage / shortages with warehouse.
Perform routine quality checks.
Coordinate material flow at the production line.
Maintain organizational standards according to 5s compliance standards.
Promote a safe work environment.
Record, notify, and report unsafe working conditions immediately to the department supervisor.
Maintain up to date professional and technical knowledge by attending educational trainings as assigned by the HLM training department.
