2nd Shift Production - Team Lead Wadsworth
About The Position
To lead the safe, efficient and timely production of quality materials that meet customer requirements. Direct, supervise and coordinate the manufacturing of all rubber products. Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below. Essential Functions: Establish safe and efficient machine and daily procedures including lockout/tagout. Work alongside workforce to set pace and implement best practices. Responsible for data entry of all production in Southware and production summary in Excel. Maintain exceptional production, quality and productivity while following specifics of production instructions/cards. Coordinate with oncoming Team Leader priorities and responsibilities relating to production. Ensure all production activities are performed, documented and completed to required standards of safety, thoroughness, accuracy and timeliness. Oversee, guide and participate in shift training of all production employees and new hires. Interact with Lab to ensure timely testing of blend properties and offline testing. Ensure plant is clean, orderly and safe. Assist in company programs, job training, job evaluation and attendance. Ensure company policies are followed, issue warnings and assist in administering approved disciplinary measures. Maintain company safety, housekeeping and environmental standards and procedures. Observe and assist with equipment setup and upkeep as it relates to production and notify Maintenance Department of any problems or concerns. Protective equipment procedures must be followed and enforced. Safeguard company property. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Uphold the RMA Code of Conduct standards and be aware of the management policy and objectives. Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
