The Production Team Lead is responsible for maintaining adequate staffing and ensuring smooth production on their line, while upholding safety, quality, and company standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role with the ability to train and mentor employees.
- Basic computer and mechanical skills.
- Knowledge of good sanitation and manufacturing practices.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate production and packaging staff.
- Maintain staffing levels and ensure smooth production on the line.
- Enforce safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
- Train and mentor employees as needed.
- Monitor production schedules and work orders to meet output goals.
- Inspect materials, products, and equipment for defects or malfunctions.
- Communicate company policies, procedures, and job expectations.
- Address employee issues, complaints, and grievances.
